Yes — all Still Form pieces are dishwasher safe. That said, handwashing extends the life of the glaze and keeps colors vibrant longer. We recommend the top rack if you do use a dishwasher.

Absolutely. Every glaze we use is lead-free and food safe, tested to be non-toxic. You can use our bowls for matcha, food, or any beverage without concern.

Yes. Every piece is wheel-thrown, trimmed, glazed, and fired by hand in small batches. Slight variations in shape, color, and texture are normal and expected — they're what make each piece unique.

A chawan is a traditional Japanese tea bowl used for preparing and drinking matcha. To use: warm the bowl with hot water, discard the water, sift in 1–2g of matcha, add 70ml of water at 175°F, and whisk in a W motion until frothy.

Domestic orders typically arrive in 3–7 business days. International orders take 7–14 business days. All orders include tracking.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original condition. If your item arrived damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo and we'll send a replacement.
